The biggest fundraiser of the year for 1moreChild is brilliantly organised by Ride25.  A group of 130 cyclists leave Milan on Wednesday and arrive in Rome on Sunday having covered 450miles (725kms).  All the cyclists are raising money for the children 1moreChild support in Uganda and we will be cheering them on every mile! For a while now 1morechild has had a focus on reading.  All our children are taught in English at school, but English is none of their first language.  As a result reading and writing are a real challenge.  Uganda does not have a strong reading culture and very few of our children have ever read a children’s book.
