There are hundreds of vulnerable children in Jinja district that are driven to the streets... or about to be...
They might have lost one or both parents, and are living with extended family. In a healthy African culture, these families don't ever hassitate to nuture these kids as their own, but poverty has taken its toll in many families. They are simply not able to provide for these extra children. The best they can do is over them a place to sleep, but schooling or even a simple meal is often too much to hope for. Looking for a way to survive, many of these children end-up begging for food, or working for pennies per day ... with no hope for a better future... Your contribution of just £15/€20/$25  a month enables your child to stay with their extended family whilst being provided with:

• School fees, uniform, shoes, books, etc
• Food (allowing for 3 meals a day)
• Medical care 
• Mentoring and counselling
