It’s been a busy and exciting couple of months for 1moreChild…

Our residents have been getting themselves ready for school with fresh haircuts and the arrival of new school shoes, which are always warmly welcomed! With donations, it’s easier to keep up with the rate the resident’s feet grow, as we all know children’s feet are a growing wonder!

1MoreChild has sponsors for many different things from books to stationery, bicycles to board games, so if you would like to contribute something directly, do let us know. Raising awareness,, donations, and fundraising are always wonderfully appreciated.

Speaking of fundraising… we need to say thanks to the following people for their donations.

An Agency Leader Lunch with ASK BOSCO which raised £700 – thank you to all who entered the raffle.

Modo25 embarked on the Three Peaks challenge in Yorkshire. The Three Peaks is no small feat and the team showed great spirit and determination around the beautiful landscape and hills of the Yorkshire Dales. Their efforts were met with great reward as the team raised £2000!

The cost for the basics for one resident at the 1MoreChild house is £600 per year, meaning these donations have raised enough money to support four residents for one year – we couldn’t be more proud or grateful.

And now one to shout about! The next leg of the Ride25 cycle around the world kicks off today – the riders will be cycling from Tbilisi to Baku! Good luck to everyone involved! You can read more about leg 11 here: https://www.ride25.com/leg11/

If you want to join the next leg with Ride25, let us know and we can put you in touch with the Ride25 team 🚲
