Fundraising

Organise an event, be inspired by our fundraising ideas, or get help smashing your target. Whether you hold a bake sale or do a 5km run, we’re happy to support your fundraising plans. 

There are several ways to pay in the money you’ve raised through a collection or fundraising event for 1moreChild. Pay in online through our Wonderful page, or send us the money directly to our bank.

One example is Ride25 supported by Orega.

Ride25 organises two annual Round the World Cycles, The Pioneers & The Founders with all proceeds going to 1moreChild. Orega is the biggest corporate sponsor – generously donating annually over the past 10+ years.

Commercial opportunities

1moreChild works together with businesses and organisations to deliver mutually-beneficial partnerships.

As a 1moreChild corporate sponsor, you can help deliver change by offering life-changing services to the children in Uganda, whether that is by funding their school fees, or implementing a new initiative that helps the children with future career options.

One recent commercial example is Grubby.

Grubby is a fast growing plant based meal kit business and buys a meal for 1moreChild for every meal bought by a customer. Monthly donations are growing fast as Grubby adds new customers.

Payroll Giving

Payroll Giving is a tax effective way for an employee to give 1moreChild donations directly from their monthly salary.

As a business, you need to set up and run the scheme. The amount of tax relief you get depends on the rate of tax you pay. There is no limit on the size of the gift and donation amounts can be changed or stopped at any time.

Modo25 is a fast growing digital marketing agency and helps create a sense of purpose within the team by encouraging the employees to make monthly donations to 1moreChild through the payroll.  Modo25 then matches the donations.
